Karen has been delivering practical and effective workplace solutions to her clients for over 15 years.

Employment Legal Experience…

Initially as an employment and industrial relations lawyer from 1997 to 2004, Karen worked in leading national law firms, including Mallesons Stephen Jaques and PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal.  Karen’s clients spanned a wide range of industries, including construction, government, banking, education, entertainment, manufacturing, professional services and transport. 

Corporate ER Experience…

From 2004 to 2011, Karen worked with the ANZ bank in the practical “hands on” roles of HR Consultant and Employee Relations Manager pokies Australia. In these roles, Karen managed complex employment disputes, investigations, litigation and restructures, trained the Human Resources community on employee relations issues and developed global employment agreements, policies and procedures.

Qualifications…

Karen holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at Monash University, as well as a Masters of Law at University of Melbourne, specialising in Labour Relations.  Karen is a qualified mediator (nationally accredited), trained conflict coach and investigator, and also holds a current legal practising certificate.
