Surene provides bespoke employment relations and enterprise bargaining solutions for Wise Workplace Solutions clients in various industries, including in the retail and logistics sectors. Her experience includes working with educational institutions, ASX top 50 companies, government owned enterprises and professional associations and practices.
Since joining Wise Workplace Solutions in 2019, she has successfully designed, led and delivered various enterprise agreement outcomes for clients, including organisations in highly unionised and mature bargaining environments that have been seeking significant change.
Surene draws on her extensive in-house bargaining and ER experience to engage with and educate business leaders and ensure that they understand their objectives, the communications strategy and the negotiation approach behind any industrial relations initiatives.
Surene King has more than 20 years’ experience advising a diverse range of organisations on employee and industrial relations issues, as both a workplace practitioner and lawyer.
She has managed large workplace relations functions for some of Australia’s largest companies including Jetstar, Simplot Australia, Australia Post and Commonwealth Bank, and has earned a reputation at both senior executive and operational levels as a trusted and valued business and HR partner.
